Our mining operations will be centered on the main Fortune Claims 7 - 18.

Preliminary indications are that the mine plan would be a conventional low impact, open pit or bench mining
operation. Graphite is inert which makes open pit mining feasible leaving only a minimal environmental
footprint. Graphite is mined very much like coal.

Stripping: Vegetation and gravel would be pushed into piles by dozer and burned. The small amount of
overburden would be pushed off and set aside.

Loading: A front-end loader, backhoe type excavator or hydraulic front shovel will perform truck loading.
The specs for the front-end bucket are yet to be determined.

Hauling: 40-ton dump trucks will likely be utilized as the haul vehicle for this mining operation. The volume of
the dump trucks will match the loader volume to provide flexibility, economy and simple maintenance. These
would transport the ore to the railhead in Salmo.

We anticipate being able to use some of the waste rock for road and site construction or reclamation.

The Fortune Claims are close to major rail and road arteries and shipments will be made most likely utilizing
the rail system.
